I believe that as a teacher, as the learner and as the parent, Google Classroom is a great resource to use in the classroom. The great thing about using Google Classroom is that it is free. All teachers have to do is create a Google account, then create their Google Classroom. Teachers are then able to post assignments for students. Teachers can keep track of who has turned in assignments and post grades on the website. This can also be a reminder for students. Everything that is said in the classroom can then be put on Google Classroom so that students can go back and look at the assignments. Students can turn in assignments and see their grades. I also believe that it would be a good way for parents to see if their children were turning in their work and be able to keep track of their grades. I had heard of Google Classroom before but had never put any interest into it. Now with the pandemic, many schools have chosen to use Google Classroom for distance learning. Google Classroom was being used at the schools in Booker before the pandemic. Since it was a tool that was already being used, it was easy to continue distance learning. I believe that Google Classroom will be used more in the classroom now after the pandemic. I think that Google Classroom is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It is very similar to D2L that is used for our courses now at OPSU. I really like D2L, so I know that using Google Classroom in classrooms will be a great tool.

Classroom can be used for students to have easy access to their assignments, whether they lose their the hard copy, they have been absent, or they are one the road. Students can access this on most forms of technology, and are able to do their homework virtually anywhere.
